Beach Trip

Panama City Beach 2013
We ventured to my favorite State to do my favorite thing....vacation!
My sweet inlaws took us and we had a blast! Nothing like good family time to revive you.

Here are some fun pictures of our time together.
Total people: Bryan and me, our kids (Mady 3 1/2, Collin 9 Months)
Bryan's older sister, Brittany and her hubby, Blake and our nephews, (Layton 5, Luke 3)
Bryan's parents as well as his younger brother Andrew. So if you're counting that's 11 people total.

Love this picture of B and me. Hes just so handsome.

Check out the shirt....perfect.

Cannot wait until our 10 year when we can do this ALONE!

Sweet, bff cousins. They are like 10 weeks apart. They have a ball together.

He LOVED the sand!

One of our favorite days on vacation was going to Shipwreck Island, where Bryan and his family went a lot, growing up. It turned out to be the perfect day, perfect amount of people at the park and the PERFECT set up for kids areas, family slides, adult slides etc. We ALL had a great time.

This picture below is precious. Mady's very first time setting foot on the beach and toes in the ocean!

Doesn't the sky look fake!?

Collin 9 Months

How can it be?
My little chunk is
9 months old!

This month has been a very busy month for Mr. Collin.
He took his first airplane ride to Maryland!
Met his great-grandmother and Uncle Christopher.
Learned how to do "SO BIG"!

He traveled by car to Panama City Beach, Florida.
Saw the ocean and felt the sand for the first time.
Learned how to stand while holding on to furniture.
Started to begin to crawl. Getting very close...but not quite completely moving on all fours.
Right now you do a combination of a crab crawl and a scoot, but you get where you need to be.
You've left baby food in the dust and started eating real, textured food. You really like to eat!

You learned how to sleep through the night at about 6 months and learned how to stop sleeping through the night at 8 months!
You got your first teeth last month (7 months) but 3 more came in this month (8 months).
Your bottom left tooth came first, then your top right tooth. Giving you one CUTE jack-o-lantern smile. Your bottom right and top left teeth were not far behind! You only had that silly smile for about a week, then the others came in quickly. So you have a total of 4 teeth at 9 months! Your sissy didn't have any until almost 11 months! You love to use those chompers to crunch up crackers and puffs!

When you had your well visit this month you weighed 21 lbs 6 oz. 70th %tile.
Your height was 28 3/4ths inches 50th %tile.
You were a picture of health. All stats normal and healthy. We are thankful.

This month and last (7 months) you have begun your babbles. You've said "Dada" and you say it a lot!
We aren't sure if its more Daddy, but we like to think it is.
You only say "Momma" when you cry. I'll take it.
You say "Da" when you look at Calvin, so I am assuming you mean "Dog". When I ask you where the dog is you look at Calvin.
You've also said "Ba" for Ball.

You love your blanket. You never did take to a paci or your thumb, but your blanket has become your "baboo", as my Mimi calls it. You like to bite and hug it when you are trying to go to sleep, its quite sweet.

You are sleeping two naps a day and still nursing about 6 times in a 24 hour period.
You love to play on the floor with your toys and watch your sister.
No one makes you laugh harder than Sissy!
You are still a pretty laid back little guy. You let us know when you are unhappy, but pretty easily soothed when Momma or Daddy hold you.

Your sweet smile and little side ways head tilt absolutely make my day.
I think I have kissed every inch of you and will continue to do it every day until you beg me to stop!
I just love you to pieces little guy!
Only 3 months to 1 year old!
Its going too fast!!

We are so thankful for your life.
Thankful the Lord entrusted you to us after such a long road of suffering.
Thankful He heard and answered our prayers in a way that has brought us much joy!
