So he of course was dressed for the part.
Ahh-dorable!
My sister in law said it best...this is the hardest age (until they are sitting up) to get pictures of them. So awkward....but you'll just have to trust me that he was precious in the little Turkey outfit.
My beautiful SIL holding Collin after our Thanksgiving meal.
So here's the "watch me grow" picture. Hopefully I will remember to take one each month with this bear.
At his 1 month appt he weighed 9 lbs 13 oz and was 21 3/4 inches tall. 50%tile in both height and weight, his head was in the 85%tile (oh my). Growing well, thank you Lord.
Collin wasn't as thrilled about getting his picture with the bear.
Probably because it was time to eat.
This month Mady and Bryan went out and found a deal on a Christmas Tree, so they bought it and put it up.
Not so sure about this face...haha, but Mady loved putting it up!
Big sister is ALWAYS hovering over...
kind of scary...
and sweet. But mostly scary for Mommy.
She's a curious 3 year old and genuinely is interested in Collin.
Some days more interested in his stuff...but, interested.
She is still learning what "gentle" is.
I think she knows, but is testing her limits. Poor Collin. He's been a trooper though. Life of the second child.
I do feel like "no" is currently ALL I feel like I say to her. Its very frustrating. I want to encourage her to love him, but also keep safe boundaries. Its a hard balance. Often feels exasperating. For her and I! Soon this will pass and we will all fall into our roles. Keep telling myself this.
And just because, here are more pictures....
Everyday life with two gets a little easier.
He fits right into our family so well, its hard to imagine life without him. He's so quiet and sweet, such a good baby. We are so thankful for him. Can't wait to see him grow over the next few months and years to come. Loving my little boy!
