This is our 3rd year in a row of really nasty weather on Halloween. Cold, wet and windy.
Last year we did an indoor Trunk or Treat at Mady's school, which was fun....but very crowded. So this year we decided to do the Mall, which was great. We also did the Mall the year Collin was born.
It wasn't too crowded and the kids had fun collecting candy and I was able to do a full lap trying to induce labor. This baby #3 is proving to be pretty comfortable and in no hurry to come.
I think the best part of our Halloween was earlier in the day.
The kids and I stayed in our jammies until 4 oclock! Which is rare for me. I have to be sick or Saturday to do that. We played and the Lord gave extra grace in patience and energy for me to truly enjoy the day with them. It was such a mercy. We laughed, had a picnic lunch, cuddled up and watched a movie and really treasured our last days with just two little ones.
Another great thing was the knock at the door we received at 4pm. It was Pops and Mimi!! We love surprise visitors and especially ones we love as much as them. They were able to do Trick or Treating with us. It was fun!

Everyone asks where Mady gets her blonde curls. The answer is her beautiful Mimi. Even though her hair is not fixed curly in the pictures, Mady is really her mini-me. Its so sweet.
Our attempts at a family picture.....maybe the last one as a family of 4 1/2 (counting the dog, he's the half...lol).
