Memorial Day and Humidity!!!

We had a really fun time going to an annual Memorial Day cookout with our friends from Church and the Seminary community. It was so fun to get together with everyone, but boy was it HOT!!!!

All the kids (and adults) were sweating like crazy. We quickly ate and let the kids play in the pool and then found shade and AC.

Every Memorial Day and Veterans Day I enjoy celebrating our freedom in the U.S.A. because of the sacrifice the many men and women who serve our country in the armed forces make each day. 

My granddad was in the Air Force and then served his country in working for the government in Washington D.C.  He was an amazing man and such a patriotic person. I always think of him on these fun Holidays.
