D.O.N.E.....

Well.....almost.
Done with his Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry, but now looks forward to four more years in pursing his PhD of Philosophy.

This first hurdle, in Masters work has proven to be the very best 3 1/2 years of our lives.

Here are just a few reasons why:

  • We are apart of an amazing church. The most healthy and biblical church we have ever had the joy of being a part of.
  • We have had the privilege of being apart of Southern Seminary's community and its many accommodating amenities afforded to those found in its "fold". It has truly been an encouraging environment that challenges us to think more deeply on the Gospel and its full effect on our lives and the Nations.
  • We have made some the most cherished and Christ exulting relationships here in this season of life. Everyone being equipped in their own ways for a life lived in full-time ministry. Where discipleship and accountability have reached new levels and where brothers and sisters in Christ have become very dear to us and as family. (Heb. 10:24-25)
  • Our marriage has experienced highs and lows as we have learned what it is to be "brought low and to abound" (Phil. 4:12) and in all this we've learned the secret of being content. Rejoicing in the love of our youth while being desirous to bring God much glory with our lives and our marriage.
  • We have been blessed with one beautiful baby girl. We've seen our first child be born in this season. What a joy and delight she is to help us work out our salvation (1 Tim. 2:15); as we seek to raise her in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  (Eph. 6:1-4)
  • I have seen my husband grow in Godliness. I have seen him broken and despaired with sin and joyful and exuberant in walking in forgiveness and grace. I have seen God's hand on His life in provision after provision. Carving out our path and truly leading Bryan to lead us well.
I am so thankful for each of these incredible reasons why it is good to have completed this journey of Masters work at Southern Seminary. I am so proud of my amazing husband and all the accomplishments he has achieved while enduring often difficult days in this season. However, the joy and our continued sanctification has proven to be the lasting treasure we chase as we enter into another season in academia and we're hopeful for more personal growth and glory to Christ.
