Although the planning for this trip really only was a 3 week effort or so. One of my girlfriends had the idea and we all knew that if we didn't "jump on it" soon, it would never happen.
Well, it happened.
We all managed to get sitters/family members to watch our kids and we took a much needed "couples, kids-free trip" down to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Of course the very day we make the 4 hour drive down we ran into TORRENTIAL storms, walls of water and tornado warnings!! We were all a little nervous on the drive down, but thankfully we all made it down in one piece.

All in all the trip was loads of fun! It was great to get away with our spouses and friends. We played games, laughed, cooked big breakfasts, had dance parties, cold hot tub dips and MUCH more. So many great memories shared with such great friends. So thankful.
