I'm gonna let it shine!!
In the midst of the hustle and bustle the real meaning of the season gets lost. Things become more about santa, reindeer, snowflakes and Happy Holidays, instead of Jesus and Merry Christmas. Lawsuits are being filed against those displaying manger scenes instead of frosty the snowman.
Remembering the day the sinless man came into our world to save a people from eternal separation from God forever would become an infringement upon our first amendment rights?
But isn't it also our first amendment right, or our freedom to exercise religion ? To display the blessed birth, to shout from all corners of the earth, to all the nations that the King has been born and will make a way to the Father, on our behalf. He who knew no sin became sin so that we did not have to suffer the penalty of what our actions deserve. More importantly to display God's glory on all the earth.
So we say, let your light shine before men!!
He said to them, Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? In stead don't you put it on its stand?
For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to brought out into the open.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.
