Go Cardinals!

This weekend we went to Cincinnati to watch the Reds play the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Cardinals are Bryan's favorite team....other than UK of course. He also loves the Colts, but there is always a special place in his heart for baseball because he used to play.
So bringing Mady to her first professional baseball game was a HUGE DEAL and milestone for Bryan as a Dad, and former baseball player.

She even had a cute outfit to support her team.

So proud of his girl, who was BEYOND excited!
This stadium is the most beautiful stadiums I've ever been to. Every seat has a great view...including the NOSE BLEED section, which is where our seats were! Seriously though, it was gorgeous to be that high up and be able to see the river.

We ate some good treats, including this soft pretzel, which despite her face...she loves them!

Nice face babe! This was actually a precursor to what was about to happen to him. Poor guy has second degree burns on his hand and still managed to make this trip happen. He started to have chills and fever during the game and we had to leave a bit early. He had a minor reaction to the vaccination shots he was given to counter act any infection in his hand.

Daddy and his girl

Even little brother was able to come (obviously).
He had his my own shirt for the game!
Bryan is beyond excited to have a boy and buy sports gear/ team shirts for. This was his first "muse".

Overall it was a fun trip...
We met some friends from church at the game, that are also die-hard St. Louis fans, so that was fun.
We ate at Tom+Chees, which was FANTASTIC and apparently we have one in Louisville and I am super pumped about going again.
We also managed to make a trip to IKEA. Neither one of us had been to one before and were overwhelmed by its vast, awesomeness. Hah.

Such a great day, despite Bryan's sickness and St. Louis losing the game :( it was fun family day!
