A week long play date!!

I don't talk about him enough on this blog.... but, I have a son.

His name is Calvin.

He is four legged

and

ever bit of precious.

Many think he's not that cute

and even think he's mean looking....

but they don't know his heart.

He is the biggest lover you've ever met.

He would prefer to be on your lap

then by your feet.

He prefers a good rub then a tummy scratch.

He is a major snuggler 

and 

would warm the other side of your bed at night if you let him. 

The best thing about him is how social he is.

He loves other dogs.....

every.other.dog.on.the.planet.

When he was a puppy we lived near a dog park.

I would take him out there for hours.

Socializing with other owners and enjoying watching my "child" play with his friends.

The best was when another Boxer would show up.

When two Boxers play together you start to understand why they are the way they are.

Its a connection only understood by other Boxer owners.

Which is why we were elated when our friends needed someone to watch their

firstborn, Marlie.

Calvin has had the time of his life.

Here is the proof.

She's very FOND of him too....

They loved sleeping together and keeping each other warm.

Two peas in a pod.

Calvin: "Don't separate us."
Marlie: "Distance isn't making my heart grow fonder.

Calvin: "MOOOOMMM!"

Bryan is taking full advantage of the extra snuggles.

They actually slept like this.

Its been an awesome week. 

We've enjoyed watching our boy in his "element". 

He is going to be super depressed when she leaves....

but,

he is going to be so tired that he won't have time to notice!!
